  3. Jun 09,  · LP arrived today from Acoustic Sounds. so if they used a tape that was sitting in my closet from a dub I made of an original vinyl copy back in I couldn't care less. Ok - little rant over. I'm very glad to have this as I really love the album. It'll be fun to dig out the original vinyl and make some comparisons! carledwards, May
  4. Sep 06,  · I think the bands name is 'A Love' and the album name was 'Supreme'. noname74, Sep 5, #5. The issue isn't really whether people will know what it is if they run across the thread, the problem if someone were to do a search on this release they would probably put "coltrane'" in the search which means this thread wouldn't come up.
  5. If you loved iRig's versatility, you'll love what iRig 2 brings to the table. Its new 1/4" output jack lets you use iRig 2 with an amplifier as a part of your live rig without the use of an adaptor. This opens up a whole world of opportunities when paired with AmpliTube, IK's powerful guitar and bass multi-effects processor.
  6. Love Grocer (primarily the duo of horn players Chris Petter and Dave Fullwood, aided and abetted here by a number of fine sidemen) seems to have a different agenda altogether. Their sound is smooth and lush -- not overly slick or melodically simplistic, just supple and warm and approachable.
  7. Across eight sizzling tracks, Robbie Shakespeare' sinuous basslines continue to drive most of the rhythms, and guitars make welcome appearances, however the drum machines, the sharpness of the production, and the minimalistic arrangements still created an amazingly digitized sound, particularly on "Computerize" and "Love," the edgiest songs on.
